A classic Damascus style Iznik floral plate in a Cobalt blue and red design, handmade by specialist Iznik ceramic artisans using a traditional underglaze technique using only natural pigments. The 18cm size makes it perfect for use as a decorative side plate.

Ceramics occupy an important place with a profound and influential history in Anatolian Turkish decorative arts. The ceramics of Iznik - patronised by the sultans - were among the finest works of art in the Ottoman Empire. Some masters of this art have been working for the last 50 years in an effort to give a rebirth to these classic style of ceramics.
